We are proud to announce [hope] Clan's Aoe3 World Series.
There is over $1500 prize money for our participants to win. To keep the games in our tournament original and enjoyable, we have added a couple of interesting rules. The Sign-Ups are now opened. If the community interest is big enough we will think about adding some extra slots.

- Read the rules carefully!
- Sign-Up!

Here is a brief summary of the tournament system:

Sign ups will be limited to 96 players. These 96 players will be divided into 16 groups of 6 players. The groups will feature players who are within the same region, or are at least within a similar time zone. Within each group, players must face every other player once and duke it out for a good position in the table. After all the games have been played, the top 2 players in each group will progress to the final championship knockout tournament consisting of 32 players. But it doesn't end there! Players who finished 3rd and 4th respectively will progress to a separate 32 player knockout tournament. Both of these knockout tournaments will run in parallel and will contain the same rules. Due to the generosity of our donators, there is a healthy dose of prize money up for grabs in both knockout tournaments. With regards to the secondary final tournament; in order to ensure it consists of lower and mid ranked players as intended, we will place a restriction; of which players above a certain seed are ineligible to participate. This seed will be decided after signups have been closed.

Knockout match format - Please read carefully
Each player is required to post within the start of their schedule topic a number of civilisations they do not want to play. This number will depend on the number of games in the round:
BO3 - 7 civilisations chosen not to be played by each player.
BO5 - 5 civilisations chosen not to be played by each player.
BO7 - 3 civilisations chosen not to be played by each player.

In the first game of the matchup, players may choose any civilisation excluding the ones chosen not to be played.
From the second game onwards, the loser of the previous game may choose the matchup to be played excluding civlisations chosen not to be played, which were stated in the schedule topic.

Its time for me to move on in my life. I know there is much to discover, ive discovered a bit, but I can not do it fully with a game to play when I come home

School and sports are taking over more and more of my life. And that makes me tired when I get to play => I play nubie => I get irritated, and that is not good

No joke, but you better prepare almost every single matchup in the game if you want to win this tourney hehehe devil.gif

If most people, including the sponsors agree that 100% mirrors sucks, then something is done about it. Simple as that.

almost every matchup is unfair so the first mirror is going to play a pretty heavy weight on the results in the late rounds of the top bracket lol.

And maybe people will realize non-mirrors are not that amazing. If anything they are more entertaining because more often someone doesnt know what to do lol.
