QUOTE(FlaWLeSs_DiEsEl @ Feb 9 2010, 07:09 PM) Ok. Time to educate you all on some real rap with an East Coast invasion (not to diss west coast or the dirtay south) . If your not a fan of rap in general, or just haven't heard it yet, I would suggest checking out Nas's tracks as they exhibit what rap is at its best. Start this off with an up coming rapper from the East coast underground. J gunn holds it down lyrically while Khrysis goes bananaz on the beat. Bangin track. J Gunn - One Finger Start off the NYC section with some Masta Ace. Sick flow and a sick beat make this 1999 joint about his daily grind as a rapper an instant classic. Masta Ace - Da Grind East coast beats combined with great story telling and lyrics by P and Havoc, these two QB boys go hard. From their 95 album, the Infamous, this track gets ape. Mobb Deep - Temperatures Rising More from the Mobb, another soothing beat with great lyrics. Big Noyd comes in and kills this joint. The whole Infamous album is just unreal track after unreal track, one of the best albums of all time. Mobb Deep - Give up the goods (just step) Keeping with that early to mid 90s New York (Queens Bridge in particular) theme. Nasty Nas drops some unreal lyrics in his debut album. Illmatic easily one of the best albums in all facets, (did I mention it lacks all that car, money, women, bling poopie?). Maybe the best lyrical album ever, this track combines flawless lyrics about the QB life with a unreal beat... this joint never gets old. Can't say enough about Nas's rhymes in this track. Nas - It aint hard to tell My personal favorite track out of Illmatic, this joint has great soothing piano with even better lyrics by Nas. I was thinking of throwing up some lyrics from this joint but I'd end up writing the whole song, its that good. No one can spit like this anymore, not even Nas himself. The complexities in every line, the melody, the perfect flow and rhyme leaves you thinking 'holy guacamole'. Nas - The World is yours Keeping with Illmatic, another one of the unreal tracks on it, soothing to the mind and soul, Nas's flow is unmatchable on this calming beat. Another example of Nas's flawless lyricism. Nas - Memory Lane Gotta throw up one more from his 94 masterpiece. Nas's lyricism is matched in full by Az in this flawless track. Nas ft. Az - Lifes a nice person Keeping with the QB artists, presenting the most hated, most underrated, AZ. Bumpin beat and uplifting lyrics from AZ on this joint. Ill poopie right here. AZ - Never Change Another joint you gotta roll down the windows and turn the volume up to from AZ. Az - Seems that way Personally I find the 'harder rappers' (currently speaking) have the best flow and lyrics, especially when not focusing on the gunz. Jada - Still Feel me Of course gotta show love to the Wu while im throwing up East Coast tracks. They have a great flow and fun lyrics. This instant classic has sick flow from Rae and the clan. Great beat too. Wu Tang - Hollow Bones One of my personal favorites, great lyrics and beat. Wu Tang - One Blood Under W Gotta show love to Big L. Life was cut short but in his short time came up with some sick verses. Lyrically on par with any rapper, a soft and fun beat is the perfect match to his lyrics on this track. Big L - MVP The trumpets complete this beat. Big L goes hard on this joint, defiantly one of his illist. Big L - Fed up with the Bull poopie Can't have East Coast with out Jay-Z on here. I'm talking oldschool Jay-z. This joint is unreal, sampled by many many rappers, but still unable to touch Jiggas flow on this 96 classic from reasonable doubt. Jay-Z - Feeling it Bumping track from Geto Boys. Windows down and bass up necessary for playing this joint. Geto Boys - G code Gotta throw up some LOX. Great beat and lyrics from Styles and Jada on his joint. LOX - Recongize If you down for that G poopie this joint gonna be bananaz. Styles P (3rd verse) kills it. 'shoot em then cut em then beat em with a bat till hes bleeding from his ears and his nose at the same time' - SP the hardest. Bully ft. Sheek Louch and Styles P - Triangle Offense Just to bump old topics. Got Illmatic album. Its awesome. Cheers flawless diesel. -------------------- QUOTE Always get an armory as soon as you can. This will save you from having to make one later on QUOTE I think if somebody took a fruiting jackhammer to my skull, it would give me less of a headache than reading doglion's posts QUOTE Ya isis look like lady gaga that why 2 month ago i create a acc LadyGaGa__ (1717)and just played lot isis 11111111 |
