That Post Just made me hate aot even more, it reminded me the bad memories of aot....

in aot it goes that way...

noobs rule, decent players suck , not always, but in aot its permenantly not balanced, everything is Isis/Thor/Oranos .....
eggy are way stronger than in aom, atty screwed up the game....

in aom, its 99% balanced , in the top 20 you see every kind of civs...
and in aom, there is no 'weak civ''.....

about what did Nature said...
really, why do u think you cant make any other strategies in aom than raiding??

actually in AOM you can do much more strats than AOT...
why?
because any strategy you try to do in aot will be half screwed up.
why?
because of the dumb features in aot like:
-AQ, Shoting docks, Classical TCs, everything is about turtling in TT..

A lot of the real strategies arent got it taste like in aom...
Raiding in aot is almost dead.......
everything he does is doing 2 tcs in classical, or spam villagers that doesnt day, you keep killing villagers, and with one button ''Auto Que'' he Just make more and more villagers....

Early water fights, arent As intresting as they USED to be in AoM..

because of shoting docks..
eveb if you Micro+ build Ships, you Just cant beat him... because of shotting docks...

Rush is sucking in AoT, not so effective like they was in AoM...
why?
because he can Just turtle and spam villagers with AUTOQUE! , and spam Ary with AUTOQUE!

not true really because of the TT features...

The only things that TT may be kinda better than AoM.
is ESO, ebcause of new features like Friends List, wish is easier to use than in AOM, and some other un necessary thing like viewing the other Player's rating or his favorite god...

Oh, when we are talking about the new ESO..
what about self rate?
thats one of the most ugly TT features, they thought it may make less Smurfing, but actually it opened the Door for smurfing, 1800+ players can now even get to 1800+ with a shorter time, and less games!

we really want free MU in aom, thats what TT may be better than aom with..

Anyway I prefer aom more than aot, either when i barely play atm.

yeah, IMO vanilla is more boring, coz u can expect the same from each god and u dont really can in TT IMO

i honestly have to say that i'm disappointed in how many people have returned to vanilla. altough i dont blame them, theres an awful lot of cheap tactics going about in aot, it hruts the community in how its getting divided up. more importantly, its harder to find games at higher skill levels when the fewer players there are divided into still fewer groups!! (xpack vs vanila players) 

i think a good way of solving this problem would be to take titans out of supremacy, i know its kindve a big move... but titans really alter the game too much. if they arent taken out of supremacy, then make a titan-free game mode and make it the deafult game mode over supremacy.

the argument over taking aq out.. i'm not so sure. while it makes players lazy, it also has a major flipside which most people never seem to talk about, which is that if you forget its on (which i'm sure has happened to EVERYONE) it'll just keep draining your res and filling up your pop inefficiently as opposed to having the total control of no aq. people shouldnt complain about aq as changing the game so drastically from aom to aot...  you don't have to use it in aot if you dont want too!!!! nobody wins because of aq, and YOU have aq aswell so no reason to whine.

so yeah thats about it... i mean i'm tempted to go back to vanilla simply because theres no titan lameness, but i play gaia so that kindve a problem... and if you're playing vanilla because you dont want to play against atties, thats just ridiculous on your part, you shouldnt have the power to choose your opponents and atties arent invincible, hell --theyre hardly top 20 

what are your thoughts

ps... titan game mode shoudl be called Titanomachy    but the downfall of this gamemode might be that once you start.. you pretty much know the other guy is gonna try to make a titan .. but its not like you still cant try to beat the snot out of him anyway...

also oranos was at the top (neggy) few weeks ago, thor rox too, we have a 2k loki, we had some top 10/20 gaias too, zeus is even better then hades and nature was at the top with pos too

anyway nature doesnt forget to build vills, he just builds military instead, which is how his very agressive almost flooding tactics come off, he kills your eco quicker than he kills his own by not making many vills

yeah and some like both games. But you will see more mu and heroes in AoT, that's a fact, because they are cheaper... And that's really good for new strategies etc.. But ok vanilla and his nice raiding wars have some good things too

If you choose to use the same strategy every game it's your own problem not the game

Anyway, if the aom forum is closed then I will be very dissapointed. Just people should be discouraged from posting about aom in the aot forums and it should solve the problem.

i'm stuck with aom at least for now. i reinstalled because i had aot tooltips installed to go back and try aom again then i couldnt find my aot cd cover. i have the cd, the box and the guide but not the case or cover or whatever the product key is on. is it down to $5 or something that ill be able to pick a new one up cheap?
