If you have found a code based error
If you incounter a major problem with the forums that deals with a forum error then you should contact our #1 code gosu Robo (Profile)

Contacting Staff Member/Admin
If you need to talk to any admin/staff then you should go to this page: Staff List. Forum Mods only deal with the forums next to there name so it is best to conact the Global Mods/Admin because they can deal with the whole site.

Reporting A Post
If you see a post that is unacceptable then you should use the button under each post on the site, that says: Report this post to a moderator. It is the fastest way to report something because it goes to all staff members so we can get it asap. Thanks for all members that use this but remeber not to use this as a form of chat.

hi im new i just got my account working a few days ago and i tried playing some rec games but when i click open it says "cannotplay the file. the file format is unknown"can any1 help sad.gif

Some suggestions.

If the game you are trying to watch is pre patch 1.04, they will not work.

Try to rename the recordings, make sure the end with aoe3rec


Hope you get it worked out - there are hours of good entertainment biggrin.gif

You should store them in your "savegame" folder and open them in the game bar "help and tools"

Follow the steps in the first post (download and watch recorded games) - the instructions are for AOM, but they are basicly the same for AOE3 chinese.gif

i had the same problem....but after 9 hours of hammering and clobering my comp and some how pressing buttons..etc...it worked..



try the same method.....

correct me if im wrong, do we save it under C:/Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\savegame ? if i am correct, i have a prob: after saving the recorded game there, i wanted to check it out on AOM but i could not find it anywhere on AOM...
